Hi there, I am Jo, a qualified Audiometrist and Aural Care Clinician, with my great passion being, to bring healing to hearing.

Friedrich Nietzsche said it best - "And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music."

My educational background includes a diploma as a Dental Technician which I completed in 2006 at the Technical University of Pretoria, after completion I specialised in the anatomy of the ear by working as a lab technician building custom electronic hearing protectors, including amplified hearing devices.  In 2008 I received an Audiometry qualification enabling me to further my career as a hearing coach.

In 2009 I travelled to Europe where I received advanced training in the manufacturing of an Elite range of In-ear Monitors. Now, with more than 12 years in the hearing industry, I have gained invaluable experience when it comes to helping the hearing impaired and have been incredibly fortunate to have worked with TV personalities and artists from various countries.

The ability to hear connects us to people and enables us to communicate in a way that none of our other senses can achieve. What started out as an idea has since turned into reality with the creation of SoundSure. My vision was to open a boutique ear clinic, offering more personalised treatments for adults, and children in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It is my passion to help educate people on the need for ear health through wax removal and ear cleansing.

I come from the busy city of Pretoria in South Africa and have since settled with my family in the beautiful Papamoa in the Bay of Plenty, also the new home of SoundSure. I love spending time with my husband and two children exploring this beautiful country as well as building and collecting Technic Lego or watching motorsports.

I am eager to meet you and help with your journey to hear the music again.
